Apie vartotojų „iWatch“ pramintą laikrodį iki šiol nebuvo skelbta jokios oficialios informacijos. Laikrodis bus pirmasis „Apple“ žingsnis į išmaniųjų laikrodžių rinką, dėl kurios daugelis technologijų ekspertų yra skeptiški.
„Apple“ laikrodžio ekrano įstrižainė turėtų būti 2,5 colio, o iš kitų laikrodžių stačiakampio formos „Apple“ produktas išsiskirs lenktu ekranu ir turės belaidžio krovimo galimybes, praneša šaltiniai.

Bendrovė tikisi per pirmuosius metus parduoti 50 mln. išmaniųjų laikrodžių, tačiau šie skaičiai gali keistis. Pasak šaltinių, laikrodžius gamins bendrovė „Quanta“, kuri bus atsakinga už 70 proc. laikrodžio surinkimo.
Manoma, kad prekyboje laikrodžiai turėtų pasirodyti ne anksčiau nei spalio mėnesį.
